Some of the measures taken by Helping India Trust are :
Distribution of Free Medicines :
The poor and needy children are distributed free medication in the relief programs offering medicine. It has been decided that in future too, people will be provided with free services. The needy and the poor in rural India are also provided with medical and surgical treatment. This free of cost treatment is provided by a small team of medical volunteers at Save a Child Foundation.This corporation would be responsible for procurement of generic drugs , surgical and diagnostic equipment for government institutions. In addition to this essential medicines would be given free of cost to the patients who are undergoing treatment in state government hospitals.
Distribution of Clothes
Where programs for food relief are carried out, blankets and clothes are also distributed by this NGO, free of cost. Many of the poor children come in old shorts and some have hardly any clothing to wear. They are provided clothes by Save a Child Foundation.
A “blanket distribution” consists in distributing foodstuffs to specific population, targeted as most vulnerable in terms of malnutrition: children under 5 years old (or younger, e.g. 3 years old, depending the context), pregnant/lactating/nursing women, etc. These programs are put in place in nutritional emergencies with high prevalence of malnutrition and/or high proportion of population at risk.
Free Health Camps
We organise free health camps with the association and collaboration of doctors and hospitals in various slum areas and poor localities. These camps provide a reach for many poor people to necessary medical facilities.
Health awareness campaign : Save a Child Foundation launches different health awareness campaigns time to time to create an informed and aware society. These campaigns help people to understand their health related issues and prepare themselves to face it.

Child Education: Education is the road that children follow to reach their full potential in life. Education is a gift for life. We help children reach school and stay there. We help children unlock their potential and realize their dreams.
School: A school is an institution designed to provide learning spaces and learning environments for the teaching of students (or “pupils”) under the direction of teachers. Most countries have systems of formal education, which is commonly compulsory. In these systems, students progress through a series of schools.
Child Development Programme: Early childhood care and development focused the age group of 2-5 years by providing nutritional food, imparting learning through play way methods, concentration on early childhood development skills with adequate health care and hygiene promotion activities.
Training Developments: Training Development focuses on both training employees for their current jobs and developing skills for their future roles and responsibilities. Training and Development as a function concerned with organizational activity aimed at bettering the job performance of individuals and groups in organizational settings.
Cutting & Tailoring: Women are taught embroidery, arts and designing skills as well as tailoring. The course duration is 3 months for basic cutting & sewing.
